Bognor
Regis Swimming Club (BRSC) offers competitive swimming
training as well as a Learn to Swim programme run by qualified
Teachers and Coaches. The Club
was founded in 1965 and since that time has been providing
swimming instruction for novices through
to National standard competitive swimmers.
During
the week and at weekends we run training sessions that are
split into different squads based on the ability of a swimmer.

Competition
All
members of the Club have the opportunity to compete in the
Club Championships and those who reach qualifying standards
are encouraged to swim in the Sussex County Championships, the
Southern Counties competitions at Crystal Palace and National
Championships.
The
Club enters teams in competitive galas throughout the year and
most weekends Bognor Regis Swimming Club are in action around
the South of England. The Club participates in The Speedo
League, Sussex League, Rother League, Premier League, Junior
Cup, Wey League as well as Invitation Galas. Bognor
swimmers also enter Open Meetings locally and further afield.
A
team of experienced, fully qualified coaches, led by Chris
Adams, ensure that swimmers reach their full potential.

Running the Club
The
administration of the Club is by an elected Executive
Management Team (known as the Committee) comprising mainly
of parents of swimmers who give their time and expertise to
the Club free of charge. The Club operates rather like a small
business whose lifeblood is this freely given time by the
parents and club members. An active fund raising team also
organises different social events during the year for both the
children and their parents.

What we are about
Although
we have formal rules and procedures like any club the
unwritten principles that we adhere to are:
